Abigail Louise "Abby" Jensen is the main protagonist of 16 Wishes. She is turning sixteen and has sixteen wishes for it. She meets Celeste who gives her a box of candles with numbers up to 16 on the stars at the top. She has a rivalry with Krista Cook who is also turning sixteen and gets anything she wants but Abby's birthday starts to take a turn for the worse when she makes a certain wish.
She is portrayed by Debby Ryan as a 16-year-old and by Kailey Cross as a 8-year-old.
Biography
Abigail "Abby" Louise Jensen was a girl eager to grow up, get the privacy and respect which is what any ordinary girl wants, but most ordinary girls don't have a fairy to make their wishes come true. That's why Celeste, Abby's birthday fairy is there to make Abby's dreams come to fruition. Celeste tries to make Abby's birthday the worst in the beginning so that in the end, it could be the best sweet sixteen ever in a attempt to teach her a lesson.

Abby has dirty blonde hair, fair skin and brown eyes.
Personality
Abby was an ignorant and greedy girl and took advantage of everyone, not only her best friend but her family as well. She even tried to get Krista back whenever she attempted to beat Abby at her own game. Additionally, she invaded Krista's privacy by looking through her diary. Despite hesitating at first, she decided to read it anyway. Abby was also thoughtless considering she didn't realize that Jay wanted to be student body president. She was rude to her parents and her brother when she rejected them after their surprise by the time Abby woke up, until her eyes are open to the world when she turns into an adult. Abby learns her lesson and seemingly grew to be nicer to her family, friends and starts a friendship with Krista after Abby herself apologizes.

- Logan: Abby's former crush, she fell in love with him however she saw that Logan liked Krista.
- Jay: Abby's best friend and current boyfriend as they realized at Abby and Krista's Sweet 16 Party, that they had feelings for each other.
